Who Do you Love More? x Get it Now

The album “Who Do You Love More?”, featuring Chill Moody x Beano x Hank McCoy – all three from Philly, dropped on February 4th on Itunes and on Google play.  I must admit…I was highly anticipating this album, especially since hearing “Last Night in Town” on Sound Cloud via Chill Moody’s page.  When I got home on Tuesday I immediately went online to cop the album and it’s what I expected and more!  Chill Moody did his thing, and Beano….ladies if y’all don’t know…he can sang!  Hank McCoy produced the dope beats for the songs on the album.

The collaboration amongst these three is pretty amazing, ever since I downloaded the album yesterday, it’s pretty much been on repeat and each track has it’s own flavor and catchy lyrics.  Like I said, after hearing “Last Night in Town” on sound cloud, they had me and I knew that I had to cop the album.  And there were a few other tracks that caught my attention, starting with “Right Under My Nose”, lol I did not expect what was coming at the end of that song…I had to go back and listen to it again. The ending really caught me off guard but it all makes sense, you have to hear the whole song to understand but the title says it all!  The hook on the song “What’s for Breakfast” is one my faves…like I said that dude named Beano can really sang!

I’m not going to review every single track, however the interlude “Money Coming Down” is dope…I wish it was a little longer, but it runs right into “BSGTBPT”, I have no idea what the title of this song means but the track is hot.  This album “Who Do you Love More?” is filled with songs dealing with various stages and types of relationships, break ups, and more. If you think that you’re missing out because you haven’t heard what’s on this album, then you are.  Visit itunes now to download the album or you can look it up on Google Play for Android phone users. It was #27 on the itunes hip hop chart the day that is dropped and I haven’t heard any complaints, just nice things from everyone who has the album. It’s under $10 and it’s definitely worth the buy…you won’t be disappointed.

One more thing…this Friday, these fellas, Chill Moody x Beano x Hank McCoy, will be performing this album live at the Hard Rock Cafe in Center City, Philadelphia.  This is a red carpet event, so if you’re going…dress for the affair.  They have a limited number of VIP tickets available along with general admission. If you love the album and want to see the live performance, get your tickets to go to the Hard Rock Cafe, for this Friday, February 7th doors open at 8:00 p.m.

…As always…thanks for stopping by and if you have feed back on this album…drop a line below.

Small Business Saturday is this weekend!!!

This Saturday, November 30th, is what’s considered “Small Business Saturday!”  During Small Business Saturday, a group of small local businesses come together in their local community, advertise, and offer discounts to shoppers on that day.  American Express began this concept in 2010, and since then it has grown, this year Philadelphia is a “neighborhood champion”, teamed up with American Express!

Small Businesses are great, you can find rare and fly items through them that you won’t find in the mainstream market.  Mainstream shopping is cool and it is relevant, however it is the small businesses in our areas that are creating more jobs for locals and the driving force in our local economy.

After all the turkey and Black Friday shopping….save some room and save some money to support the local economy.  This year, Small Business Saturday will be taking place in Philly at 1701 Walnut St., 8th floor, ALLMAN Building, Philadelphia, PA 19103, from 10:00 am until 5:00 p.m..  There will be at least seven businesses taking part in this significant event this year!  Be sure to stop by and check it out.  Other local businesses in the Philadelphia area will support small business saturday by offereing their same Black Friday discount.  I know that Duke &Winston, located at 633 N. 2nd St, in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia, will be offereing 30% off on Black Friday as well as Small Business Saturday.  Support and shop smart and local and be apart of this historic movement!

Happy Fathers Day! Is it that time of the year again???

(Pictured above is my niece, my father, and my daughter :-))

Yes, its that time of the year again! And if you’re like me, you feel like Fathers day snuck up on you lol. But it is a joyous time of the year where we get a day just to honor our fathers. However, we should use everyday to honor our parents and loved ones.

My father is a hard working and loving man and father and I am completely grateful for him. But, what do we get for our fathers on fathers day? ….the same boring ‘ol tube of tube socks???

There are so many great things to get dad, because there are sales everywhere. Check out Macys where the finest in mens clothing is on sale or you can get dad a wallet or a belt or a fancy tie for an affordable price.

Or check out Best Buy where all the gadgets are on sale. Is dad into computers, ipods, or tablets? Then places like Best Buy would be your spot. But you can also try some online stops for better prices such as eBay.com, overstock.com, or 1saleaday.com. For 1 sale a day you should sign up for their email alerts- they have a ton of great deals!

Or does dad need a massage, facial, or want to try something new? Then try sites like livingsocial.com or Groupon.com for the best deals at great places in your area. Whatever you think dad could use this Fathers day, the resources are out there so don’t slack.

Besides….all that our dads do for us, they deserve to be celebrated this day and everyday

(Pictured above is my brother and his baby girl :-))

Most of all its not about things (but if we can afford them then why not share?), its about love and showing your appreciation from the heart. So if you’re dad is a great dad like mines….then he’ll adore whatever you buy him because its the thought that counts (yeah right!) Lol j/k…just don’t go to dollar tree…..a love you and a cup of coffee will do too. And an early “Happy Fathers Day!” To all the dads! And an extra special super duper fathers day to my dad:-) He’s the bestest dad ever and I know it!

….as always….thanks for stopping by my bloggie and drop a line below 😉
