Today, Sunday, June 9th, the Odunde Festival took place on South street in Philly. This festival is truly a big celebration in the city. The venues were packed with beautiful people of African descent and other nationalities!
There was plenty of food and shopping going on.
I enjoyed checking out the authentic African instruments and souvenirs.
There was plenty of shopping, entertainment, and fun for the family. And there was plenty of shopping for the creative fashionistas! I loved the accessories, dresses, dashikis, T-shirts, bags, head wraps, and more!
Truly this day was amazing, celebrating with my brothers and sisters at Odunde! There was so much made available in the community, even natural products and books! This event was amazing!
The best part was spending this day with family…
My beautiful daughter…..
And running into old friends….
The art work and entertainment was fabulous too!
